Dawn Taylor, APRN-C, founded House Call Medical Services in 2010 after a meaningful encounter with a homebound patient sparked her vision to provide quality, accessible health care to those unable to obtain it on their own. Guided by compassion and a commitment to service, she has built a practice dedicated to meeting patients where they are—both literally and figuratively.
With thirty years of experience in hospital, clinic, and community health care settings, Dawn brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to her leadership role. A graduate of Bethel College and Wichita State University, she maintains strong ties to the Wichita area. As the proud leader of a female-run business rooted in the local community, Dawn is honored to work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who share her mission of compassionate, patient-centered care.
Outside of her professional work, Dawn is deeply engaged in her community. She serves as president of a local animal rescue organization, volunteers regularly, and is active in her church. She also treasures time spent in numerous activities with her three daughters. Married to her supportive husband for many years, Dawn cherishes the stability and encouragement her family provides.
Ashley joined House Call Medical Services in 2021 and brings 18 years of experience in healthcare. This includes work in Surgical/Trauma ICU, Pre/Post operative, oncology, Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Home Health, Hospice, as well as Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Her experience with direct patient care, medical billing, and supervisory positions has given her a comprehensive understanding of health care today.
Ashley earned her BSN from the University of Missouri and her Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. She has a passion for complex wound care with experience in research, procedures, and prevention. Ashley maintains a WTA-C certification through the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board.. Since she began working in the healthcare field, she has been a part of wound teams, doing research regarding the prevention of skin breakdown, implementation of new policies, procedures, and more.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys running, interior design, and cooking. She is a proud mother to three small children, Finley, 5, Piper, 4, and Cort, 3. She enjoys spending time with them outside, at the park and building forts.
Belinda joined House Call Medical Services in 2023 and brings 30 years of experience in healthcare. This includes work in traditional counseling offices, in-home counseling, and specialty counseling regarding adoption and crisis care. She also has experience as a hospital social worker, specializing in neonatal and burn units.
Belinda earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas. She is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered care and has a strong interest in supporting individuals with mental and emotional health issues. Belinda brings a well-rounded clinical background and a welcoming sense of humor that quickly makes patients feel at ease.
Outside of work, Belinda enjoys traveling and hiking. She is a proud parent and grandparent and enjoys spending time with her husband, beautiful daughters, new grandson, and her two border collies.
Brenda joined House Call Medical Services in 2022 and brings 34 years of experience in healthcare. Experience in hospital and clinic settings with acute and chronic illnesses served her well for 24 years of providing dialysis care. Home Health and Hospice work prepared her well for her role with HCMS, providing primary and wound care.
Belinda earned her BSN from the University of Central Oklahoma and her master's as an Adult & Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.
Brenda is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered care. She has a strong interest in chronic disease management, dementia, comfort care, and treatment of complex wounds.
Outside of work, Brenda enjoys horseback riding, grandkids, gardening, camping, and spending time with family and friends brings her the greatest joy. Brenda attends the 3WC Cowboy church, where she actively participates in youth counseling and activities as a volunteer. She plays a key role in taking care of aging parents, along with growing grandkids, and uses the same dedication in taking care of her patients.
Heather joined House Call Medical Services in 2014 and brings 31 years of experience in healthcare. Her extensive hospital experience includes work in inpatient cardiac and oncology services, case management, hospice, and geriatric medicine. She earned her BSN and her master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Wichita State University.
Heather is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered care and has a strong interest in geriatrics. She has worked in outpatient settings as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the last 11 years and brings a well-rounded approach to primary care, working with all members of the healthcare team, such as home health, hospice, facility staff members, families, and also with specialists from all fields. As director of provider services, Heather is able to use her vast experience to lead and mentor the provider team at HCMS.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys traveling, reading, and gardening. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her spouse, a son, and a daughter, along with her 2 dogs and a cat.
Karen joined House Call Medical Services in 2025 and brings over 10 years of experience in healthcare. She earned her BSN from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a Master’s degree with a focus on adult-gerontology from Maryville University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Maryville University.
Throughout her career, she has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including long-term care, hospitals, and home health. Her diverse clinical background has been shaped by over a decade as a nurse and her current role as a Nurse Practitioner providing primary care to adults and the elderly. She is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered care and has a strong interest and passion for managing chronic diseases.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys cooking, music, reading, and spending time with her family. She is a proud wife and mother to four children and her Golden Retriever, Astrid.
Kristian joined House Call Medical Services in 2025, bringing over 7 years of nursing experience. He spent the majority of his RN career as an oncology nurse at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita before transitioning into his role as a nurse practitioner. He earned his BSN from Wichita State University and his Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University.
Kristian enjoys building long-term relationships with his patients and has a particular interest in caring for individuals across the lifespan, with a focus on chronic disease management and geriatric care. He values a personalized, compassionate approach to medicine that meets patients where they are—especially in the home setting.
Outside of work, Kristian enjoys going to the gym, reading, and spending time with his family and nieces.
Lorena joined House Call Medical Services in 2024 and brings 11 years of experience in healthcare. This includes work in family medicine, geriatrics, hospice, medical-surgical, long-term care, and skilled rehabilitation.
Lorena earned her BSN from Wichita State University, and her Master’s as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. Being bilingual in Spanish, Lorena can help patients feel more connected to healthcare. She is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered care and has a strong interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and hospice care
Outside of work, Lorena enjoys reading and traveling. She is a proud mother to four boys and enjoys spending time with her family and her 3 dogs (Daisy, Chico, and Peanut).
Stacey joined House Call Medical Services in 2025, bringing 5 years of primary care house call experience with her. She earned her BSN as well as a second Bachelor's degree in Education from Wichita State. And her Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Saint Luke's College of Health Sciences at Rockhurst.
She and her husband have raised four wonderful daughters, all of whom are happily married and have blessed them with ten grandchildren, one of whom is now in heaven. Alongside cherishing time with her family, Stacey enjoys creative pursuits, gardening, and raising two-spirited Golden Doodle puppies. Her family remains her greatest joy, reflecting her commitment to nurturing relationships both personally and professionally.
Sharon joined House Call Medical Services in 2023, bringing 17 years of nursing experience with her, the majority of which that in labor and delivery. In 2019, she earned her masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University. She worked in a private primary care practice in El Dorado for three years. During that time, she returned to school and graduated with her post-master’s as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Since then, she has gradually transitioned from treating primary care to mainly mental health. HCMS has allowed her to work closely with our elderly community, where she has found a deep passion for dementia care, and she is now focusing on developing a collaborative resource for both patients and families struggling with a dementia diagnosis.
Outside of work, Sharon’s favorite activity is making memories and sharing experiences with her family. She loves traveling and cooking with her fiancé, Daniel, and enjoys finding new sushi restaurants. She is a proud mom to two wonderful and kind young men, Corbin and Rowdy, and three feral dogs—Wrigley, Cinder, and Miller.
Tiffany joined House Call Medical Services in 2023, bringing 22 years of healthcare experience spanning long-term care, labor and delivery, special care nursery, psychiatric emergency room, and pediatric nursing. She is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered care, with special interests in family practice, weight management, and mental health.
Tiffany earned her BSN from Graceland University and a Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University. Her well-rounded clinical background has been shaped by her diverse nursing roles and experiences. She has begun pursuing a post masters certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Graceland University.
Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys mentoring new nurse practitioners, camping, boating, traveling, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandbaby.
Dr Simon has been the collaborating physician for HCMS since the start. He was Dawn's preceptor while completing her NP program. Dr Simon co-founded his own clinic in 2003, New Medical Healthcare, and has decades of experience as a family practice physician and formerly as a chiropractor.
