Meet our providers home visiting doctor primary care

Dawn is the original founder of primary care in Wichita and sole owner of House Call Medical Services. She started the company in 2009, after one patient with extraordinary circumstances which prohibited her from receiving adequate medical care. Dawn graduated from Wichita State University with her NP, Bethel with BSN, and WSU with MSN. She has worked in healthcare for 27 years for a variety of settings. She worked at Wesley from 1995-2009; cardio, ortho, geriatric psychiatry, and house supervisor. Dawn has done family practice, as well as, home health and hospice care.

Heather has been with HCMS for just over 8 years. She sees our patients in assisted living facilities. Prior to getting her NP degree, she was a RN for almost 20 years at Wesley Medical Center. Heather has experience in geriatrics, primary care, and cardiology. She enjoys working with patients and their families to get them to their optimal level of functioning. 

Ashley has been with the company since 2020. Prior to becoming an NP she worked as an RN in the STICU, ER, pre/post op. home health, and PMR. She currently sees patients in homes, assisted and independent living facilities and home pluses. She specializes in geriatrics, primary care and wound care. She is certified in wound care and has worked in the hospitals on the  wound care team and participated in evidence based research to continually improve patient care. 

Cereasa graduated from Walden University with a degree in Family Practice. She has several years experience working as an RN in a correctional facility. Cereasa also has experience in med surge, women's health, and skilled nursing. With the eruption of the covid pandemic, Cereasa’s grandmother declined and needed to be placed in a skilled nursing facility. Visitors were not allowed, so she left her job to seek employment in the same facility in order to be near her grandmother. Through this journey, she discovered her passion in caring for the elderly. She is also wound care certified and sees patients in Wichita, Andover, Augusta, and El Dorado. 

Brenda is a graduate of Walden University.  She returned to school to advance her education to provide Primary Care to the Adult and Geriatric populations after seeing great need for this being an RN for 29 years and working in dialysis with renal patients for 24 years.  She has a passion for preventive medicine along with compassion and comfort care for the geriatric population.  

Hayley graduated from Walden University and has experience caring for patients of all ages in a variety of settings including; emergency room, acute inpatient psychiatric hospital, and outpatient psychiatric clinics. She believes in a holistic approach and understands medication is just one step in improving mental and behavioral health disorders.

Sharon is dual-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She treats patients of all ages and is a member of the Kansas Advanced Practice Nurses Association, as well as, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

 Belinda has worked in a variety of counseling settings including adoption, in-home, group, and crisis centers. She served on Via Christi’s Critical Incident Response Team, worked in their NICU and burn centers, and has training in a variety of counseling models. She has a passion for helping people cope with life’s difficult situations. 

Tiffany comes to us with several years of nursing experience. Having worked in pediatric home health, long-term care, psychiatric emergency room care, and labor & delivery. She is a graduate of Graceland University with her Family Nurse Practitioner license and is currently enrolled back in school to work towards her PMHNP so she can get back into the psychiatric care that she loves.

Lorena has over 10 years of experience in nursing multiple areas, including, long-term care, skilled rehab, labor & delivery, MedSurg, and hospice. Lorena obtained her BSN from Wichita State University. Ultimately, she decided to go back to Chamberlain to become a Nurse Practitioner. She is our only bilingual Nurse Practitioner, in English and Spanish! 

 Dr Simon has been the collaborating physician for HCMS since the start. He was Dawn's preceptor while completing her NP program. Dr Simon co-founded his own clinic in 2003, New Medical Healthcare, and has decades of experience as a family  practice physician and formerly as a chiropractor.
